Bäckaskog Castle in Skåne is the setting for season 17 of "Stars at the Castle", and for the fifth time in a row, Tareq Taylor cooks the food.

Five famous Swedes check in at the castle to get to know each other for as many days, and each episode revolves around one of the stars, who gets to tell about their life.

"Exciting if someone was a little rude"

The star quintet consists of, among others, comedian Pia Johansson and actor Anja Lundqvist, and in the second program of the season the artist Lars Lerin is the host.

During the episode, Lerin talks about difficult periods in his life, but according to him, the days at the castle were, on the other hand, filled with warmth and joy.

So much so that he would have liked to see a slightly cooler atmosphere between laps:

- I almost missed someone who was a little mean.

It would have been exciting if someone was a little rude, but we were all very good friends, says Lerin.

Talks about trauma

Episode four is signed by artist Jon Henrik Fjällgren.

He starts from traumatic events from growing up, and his journey to a career as an artist.

It is precisely the difficult subjects in "The stars in the castle" that are the basis for Fjällgren's participation.

- It is a program that deals with deep things.

Then I felt that it could be something for me, because I am a very deep person, says Fjällgren and continues:

- I like to talk about the difficult.

Became a winner

In the season finale, the artist Carolina Gynning is the host, and she too focuses on her youth.

In the program, she not only got to know the other stars better, but also herself, especially during the various competition branches of the program.

- I don't think I'm a winner, but apparently I am.

I have now realized that I want to win, and above all win over Anja Lundqvist, she says.

The stars in the castle 2022 premieres on Friday 30 December at 02:00 on SVT Play and at 21:00 on SVT1.
