On the fifth of January, at the age of nearly 90, the Algerian creator Mohamed Helmy passed away, so that Algeria lost with him some of its pillars and most prominent stars who contributed with their talents and creativity to enriching television and cinematic production.
On the sixth of January, after a long struggle with illness, the Egyptian art scene was shocked by the departure of actress Maha Abu Auf, who passed away at the age of 65, after an artistic experience full of achievements that began with her late brother Ezzat Abu Auf and her three sisters, in the musical band known as “Al-Four.” M »in the late seventies, after which she presented more than 120 artworks in cinema and television.
