Composer Eduard Artemyev died

According to the agency, the composer was hospitalized in early December.

He died in intensive care.

“Yes, he died,” said his son Artemy Artemyev.

Artemyev worked with directors Andrei Tarkovsky, Nikita Mikhalkov and Andrei Konchalovsky.

The artist was born in Novosibirsk in 1937.

Artemyev has won the State Prize of Russia four times.
