Joseph Mersa Marley was found dead in his car on Tuesday December 27.
The 31-year-old grandson of reggae icon Bob Marley died of an asthma attack, according to reports from several American media.
An autopsy should confirm this hypothesis.

The Jamaican-American reggae artist is the grandson of reggae icon Bob Marley and the son of fellow Grammy Award-winning musician Stephen Marley.

the causes of the singer's disappearance have not been officially revealed.
A track is put forward by several media, including TMZ and the WZPP radio station in Florida: Joseph Mersa Marley succumbed to an asthma attack.
He had respiratory problems since childhood.
An autopsy should confirm this hypothesis.

“I am deeply saddened by the news of the death of artist Joseph Marley, son of reggae star Stephen Marley and grandson of reggae superstar Bob Marley,” also wrote Andrew Holness, the Prime Minister of the Jamaica, on Twitter.
