In an interview with Pauline Grisoni in the podcast "Le Leçon", Marc Lavoine revealed that he lives in a Parisian apartment with Simon, his 36-year-old son.

The singer convinced him to move in with him after his mother Denise Pascal died of cancer in 2017.

How did the two men end up in a roommate?

The interpreter of

convinced Simon to come and live with him after the death of his mother, American model Denise Pascal, who died of cancer in 2017. Marc Lavoine's son was then alone in the United States.

His father feared that he would sink and wanted to accompany him in this difficult ordeal. 

"I couldn't get him to come back"

"I was like, 'It's good for you, come back.'

I couldn't get him to come back and then I said to him, 'Come on, that's good for me.'

To have changed a letter in this sentence, it changed everything, and then he came back and today I live with him”, confides Marc Lavoine in the podcast 

La Leçon. 

Marc Lavoine had met Denise Pascale at the end of the 1970s, when they were both going through a casting.

Both had missed it.

"I miss this thing and the young woman misses it too, but I remembered in which agency she was, she was a model too, and she had upset me", he remembers facing Pauline Grisoni.

The singer then gave his phone number to Denise Pascal's agency, then invited her to dinner.

"I missed the casting, but I succeeded in part of my life", underlines the one whose union with the model, marked by the birth of Simon, lasted almost ten years...
