Bonsai art was born in China about 1300 years ago.

It was introduced to Japan about 800 years ago, and then integrated into the Japanese customs, coupled with the Japanese perceptual creation, formed the present Japanese bonsai technique.

I think that a lot of Japanese culture is almost transmitted from China.

China has a long history, and it is from this long history that the prototypes of these cultures came from China, and then the Japanese carried out "localization" transformation and evolution on them.

The potted plants that Japan participates in exhibitions always have a fixed shape, and all of them are made into triangular shapes, which is not very interesting.

However, China has a vast territory, and people prefer relatively large potted plants with a relatively stretched style.

But potted plants are the epitome of nature and an art form that reproduces nature. It is not good to make a beautiful triangular layout no matter what works.

If you want to include nature, a natural tree shape that can make people feel the wind and rain is necessary.

Potted plants are "alive" and alive.

From potted plants, we can feel the energy of life, "longevity" and "qi".

The age of trees can be three to five hundred years or even thousands of years, but the life span is only a hundred years. We can feel the "qi" of "immortality and immortality" from the trees. This may be the reason why potted plants are so popular.

Whether it is a potted plant worth 10 million yen or a potted plant worth 1,000 yen, you must water it and take care of it. The happiness you get from it is common, and anyone can get happiness from it.

Bonsai is an art of time, and the longer it takes, the easier it will become a better work.

Cultivating bonsai at a young age may produce good works after 10 to 20 years, so the earlier you start bonsai creation, the better.

Potted plants are plants, water, light, and temperature are indispensable.

If it is not poured with emotion, it will also die.

I am ashamed to say that I have been in the industry for nearly 50 years, and many potted plants have died in my hands.

Some died because I wanted to make it more beautiful, and some died of disease, and some withered for reasons I couldn't figure out.

I still have a lot to learn from why they wither.
