Work that will last two years began recently in Vélizy-Villacoublay (Yvelines).
Developments worth 49 million euros will be created under the interchange between the N118 and the A86.
A tunnel, a roundabout, soft traffic lanes and an exit ramp are notably planned, reports
Le Parisien
.
They will facilitate the connection by car between the Westfield Vélizy 2 shopping center and the Inovel business park.
The journey is indeed complex because it requires driving to the air base, taking an interchange and retracing your steps.
All with signs that are not always very readable to indicate the right direction.
The new equipment should help "open up this southern part" of the shopping center, welcomed Richard Delepierre, vice-president of the departmental council in charge of mobility.
About 60,000 vehicles should eventually use them daily.
The project in the pipeline for ten years is funded to the tune of 5.2 million euros by the county council.
Nearly 15 million euros, meanwhile, came from the syndicate of co-owners of the shopping center.
The rest of the budget is covered by other public actors.
