"Yang Guo" courier brother who delivers food part-time

After returning to work, consciously have zero contact with customers, leave the package at the door, knock on the door a few times, and then leave

"Friends, I may be positive, and I have two red bars after three antigen tests."

Recently, SF courier Xiao Qiang (pseudonym) updated this status on his social account.

When Xiao Qiang was carrying the courier, he suddenly found himself weak, accompanied by headache and runny nose.

Xiao Qiang thought it was just a common cold, but the symptoms worsened the next day.

He took pictures of the antigen results of the "two bars" and sent them to the work group, and asked for leave from the leader.

part-time food delivery

End of work day at 11pm

In addition to delivering couriers, Xiao Qiang also works part-time as a food delivery.

One week before he was infected with the new crown, he started delivering food after getting off work at 7 o'clock in the evening, and ran until around 11 o'clock in the evening.

At the beginning, Xiao Qiang spent 500 yuan to buy a second-hand battery car, "Don't look at this car as a bad car, it can earn me hundreds of dollars every day." Xiao Qiang said with some pride.

Usually on vacation or when work ends early, he would change into another set of work clothes, get off the delivery van tricycle, step on his own battery car, and rush to the second "battlefield" of ordering.

"On a windy day in Beijing, the delivery fee for a 2-kilometer delivery was 33 yuan." Xiao Qiang said that in extraordinary times, what attracts riders is not only the much higher delivery fee than usual, but also the platform's incentive policy. For 40 orders, the platform rewards 200 yuan, and for 60 orders, the platform rewards an additional 500 yuan.

"Raising sheep" at home

All I can think about is get well soon

From the day Xiao Qiang asked for leave, he noticed that someone in the work group began to throw out a photo of the two bars of the antigen test from time to time, or a photo of the mercury column of the thermometer staying above 37 ℃.

The continuous leave of absence has reduced the courier army of more than 60 people at the site to less than 40 people on duty.

"If you don't come, you will have to find someone to do your work for you, and others will have to go to another area." Xiao Qiang said.

Around December 10, Xiao Qiang clearly felt that the capacity of the site was insufficient.

Originally, the number of orders would skyrocket during the "Double Twelve" event, coupled with the sudden increase in the number of people buying medicines online, and the courier brothers taking turns to ask for leave, the slowdown of logistics timeliness was unavoidable.

In those few days, Xiao Qiang's site had to suspend the mailing service.

The first task of the on-the-job personnel is to deliver the small amount of overstocked items in stock and the newly arrived express items as soon as possible.

When Xiao Qiang was "raising sheep" at home, there was only one thing on his mind, and that was to get well quickly and deliver couriers and food.

Resume work after the sun passes

Zero contact with customers during delivery

On December 12, most of Xiao Qiang's symptoms had been relieved, and he returned to work.

Now, Xiao Qiang will consciously put the package at the door of the customer when delivering the package, and leave after knocking on the door a few times.

When he came to pick up the package, facing the customer, Xiao Qiang would try his best to hold back every time his throat was itchy and wanted to cough. He would not turn around and cough loudly until the customer closed the door.

Xiao Qiang said that the colleagues of "Yang Guo" have returned to work in good health.

The tight capacity of his site has been alleviated, the delivery speed has been continuously improved, and the delivery service in various work areas has also resumed.

"When the manpower was at its peak, our boss also came to Beijing to deliver express delivery." Xiao Qiang said.

The leader once said in a group chat: "Many colleagues know that when I arrived in Beijing, I went to 6 points respectively. Several people in the warehouse were all sick. The overloaded amount made our brother feel exhausted. The attendance rate of my brother is only half. It is too hard for everyone to distribute the goods! In the case of a serious shortage of people, some department heads personally take over... There is no reason for us as managers to let the frontline team work hard for customers in the absence of people and the cold winter For service, everyone must participate in the front line to ensure smooth traffic.”

Customer's understanding

Let the courier guys be extra warm

In response to problems such as insufficient express delivery capacity and shortage of terminal manpower, many express companies have initiated recruitment from the society.

Mr. Yao, the person in charge of a Jitu Express station in Xicheng District, Beijing, said that the delivery fee for daily work has also been increased to 3 yuan per piece, from the original 1 yuan per order to two or three yuan per piece.

Regarding the situation of delayed delivery, most customers expressed their understanding, "It's okay, I'm not in a hurry, and I can deliver it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow." Whenever I hear such an answer, the courier buddies will feel extra heartwarming.

In recent days, in order to relieve the work pressure of the courier brother, Mr. Yao, who usually sits in the office, has also been on the front line recently.

"Urgent items such as medicines are urgently requested by customers. I will help deliver them. I am also a courier. In special times, there is no need to distinguish who is the leader and who is the employee. It is not so particular." Mr. Yao said.

Express delivery service in this city

has gradually recovered

The current express delivery service in this city has gradually resumed.

Prior to this, in response to the problems existing in express delivery terminal services, the Beijing Postal Administration has taken multiple measures to formulate and implement enhanced work measures.

Liao Lingzhu, member of the party group and deputy director of the Beijing Postal Administration, said that he will do his best to ensure the delivery of the "last mile", guide all enterprises to ensure the normal operation of outlets, continue to optimize the delivery method at the end, and organize truck capacity for large communities where delivery is relatively concentrated. It is directly shipped from the distribution center to the community for delivery to improve efficiency.

At the same time, all express delivery companies are required to encourage courier brothers to increase the employment rate, speed up turnover, and increase the recruitment of courier brothers through salary increases and performance rewards.
