[Explanation] On December 26, the Beijing Metro announced that in order to help Beijing promote the resumption of work and production and ensure the smooth travel of passengers, the capacity of the lines under the jurisdiction of the Beijing Metro Company has returned to normal levels since the morning peak.

During the evening rush hour, the reporter came to Beijing Chaoyangmen Subway Station.

According to reports, judging from the recent situation, the flow of people in the evening peak continues to rise.

[Same period] Liu Jingwei, head of the Beijing Metro Chaoyangmen Station on duty

Judging from the entry and exit data of Chaoyangmen last Friday, the evening peak (people flow) of last Friday was more than 5,000 people, compared with the evening peak of last week (Friday) of more than 2,000 people, there was a significant multiple increase.

It is now in the evening peak period. Judging from the current situation, the flow of people continues to pick up.

Chaoyangmen Station is a relatively complicated station with a lot of traffic. Our station has already prepared corresponding countermeasures.

Passenger flow at Exit G is relatively large, and we will send corresponding personnel to be on duty at Exit G during the evening peak hours to guide the traffic, and cooperate with Line 2 to limit the flow to ensure the personal safety of passengers at the station.

[Explanation] According to the data released by Beijing Metro, the daily passenger volume on December 21 was 2,775,500, on the 22nd it was 2,972,100, and on the 23rd it was 3,250,900.

Some off-duty people told reporters that since returning to get off work, they have clearly felt that the subway traffic has picked up.

  [Concurrent] the public

There were still seats at the beginning of last Monday, because I was on Line 6, and then from today on Monday, it is obvious that there are basically no vacant seats, and then it has basically returned to the previous 80 to 90%.

  [Concurrent] the public

When we just resumed work, the subway still runs every 5 minutes. When we go to work in the morning, it is now back to normal, every two minutes.

And there are quite a lot of people.

  [Concurrent] the public

Today is the first day (returning to work), everyone has been going to work since today.

I feel very excited, I am idle at home, I am tired from lying down, and I am very happy to go to work on the first day.

[Explanation] Some people said that although the subway traffic will return to the "crowded" state, they feel hopeful that they can return to normal life.

  [Concurrent] the public

The subway was quite comfortable when there were few people, but now it’s crowded again, (but) I still hope to return to the previous situation. Now that everyone is back, they can live normally, and they are also very happy.

  [Concurrent] the public

It would be great if everything can be restored, but the flow of people can be reduced, but this hope is actually a paradox, and I still think it is best to restore everything to the way it was before.

After the rest of the epidemic, everyone actually recovered and greeted the next life with a relatively new attitude.
