A road accident took place last Thursday at a crossroads in Villecresnes (Val-de-Marne).

It is the 24th, including a fatality, since the beginning of the year at this place.

Mayor UDI Patrick Farcy sent a letter to the prefect of the department and to Elisabeth Borne, indicates

He pointed to security work planned from December 8 to 12 but not carried out.

The city councilor announced his “intention to seize the administrative court, so that this situation ceases”.

The locals are getting impatient too.

“I almost got run over here once,” said a local resident, adding that “the rescuers know the place well” since they would intervene on the spot at least once a month.

The representative of the State assured that the work had started on December 12 before being interrupted the next day by bad weather, and that they would resume shortly.

For residents, the solution lies in the development of a roundabout.

This request is part of the requests that the municipality has sent to the prefect and which it expects to be fulfilled.
