On December 24, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction project of the National Northeast Regional Emergency Rescue Center was held in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province.

The Northeast Regional Emergency Rescue Center is one of the six national regional emergency rescue centers deployed and constructed by the Ministry of Emergency Management across the country.

The project covers an area of ​​532,500 square meters, with a total construction area of ​​70,808 square meters and a planned construction period of 640 days.

The scope of rescue covers Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning and the central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia, focusing on forest (grassland) fires, floods and snow disasters.

It has basic functions such as emergency command, comprehensive rescue, training drills, equipment storage and transportation, and aviation support.

  It is understood that after the completion of the Northeast Regional Emergency Rescue Center, it will mainly undertake tasks such as rapid response to the nearest major disaster, organizing professional rescue, dispatching emergency resources, and assisting the party committee and government in the disaster area to implement professional command and coordination. It is equipped with emergency command, comprehensive rescue, training drills, The basic functions such as material storage and transportation ensure that the disaster area can be reached in the shortest time for rescue, and play a key role in making surprise attacks, controlling the situation, stabilizing people's hearts, and ensuring the continuous and efficient development of emergency rescue operations.
