Skydive Dubai, overlooking the waterfront "Dubai Harbour", is preparing to host the Swoop Festival in its first edition this month, the first of its kind in the region.
The three-day event will take place from December 28-30 in front of Club Zero Gravity, where amateurs and action lovers will enjoy a weekend of breathtaking spectacle.
Skydiving is one of the most daring and fun sports, and depends on speed in maneuvering, where experienced and trained pilots glide over a body of water while performing many exciting movements, during which they skillfully control a small but powerful parachute in performance.
The festival will bring together some of the best athletes from around the world to showcase their skills and crown the best of them.
Participants will be required to cross a series of water obstacles, before attempting to land on one of the three rafts.
Skydive Dubai is the first and chosen destination for skydiving enthusiasts for both tourists and residents over the past years, as it offers a number of interesting experiences for all levels, and it is the favorite place in the United Arab Emirates to experience skydiving.
It is noteworthy that entry to the festival is free, and the venue for the event can be reached through Club Zero Gravity, adjacent to Dubai Harbor.
The first day of the three-day event will be a practice day, followed by the official judging days on December 29 and 30.
