It is known that the director has global plans for the Dragunsky collection - he is going to create a whole cinematic universe and shoot not only a full-length film, but also a feature series with five seasons, as well as an animated serial project.

The implementation of the planned plans will take about seven years.

Sarik Andreasyan was also congratulated by his colleagues on the acquisition of copyright for the collection of short stories.

Actress and TV presenter Polina Maksimova believes that this is great news, Yevgeny Petrosyan called the decision to film it wise, and actor Artyom Alekseev noted that these are “amazing stories.”

"Deniska's Stories" is a cycle of works by the Russian writer Viktor Dragunsky about the life of a schoolboy Denis Korablev.

Deniska, together with her friends, discovers the world, gets into trouble, makes mistakes and learns from them.

The action in the collection takes place in the late 1950s and 1960s.

Interestingly, the prototype for the hero Denis was the son of the author of the stories, Denis Dragunsky.

Many stories feature a friend of Deniska named Mishka Slonov, who in reality was called Mikhial Slonim, as well as his sister Ksenia.

Stories from the point of view of a primary school student are filled with kindness, humor and instructive information and have long been considered classics of literature for children.

The collection includes such stories as "You Must Have a Sense of Humor", "Dymka and Anton", "The Death of a Spy Gadyukin", "What Mishka Loves", "Professor of Sour Soup" and many others.

Funny stories from the life of Deniska will not be filmed for the first time.

Based on the stories in the 1960s and 1970s, several films were shot - "Funny Stories", "Girl on the Ball", "Deniska's Stories", the film "Magic Power" consisting of three short stories, as well as the short films "Captain", “Where is it seen, where is it heard”, “Fire in the wing, or Feat in the ice” and “Spyglass”.

In 1977, based on the collection, the two-part comedy “In Secret to the Whole World” was released, and in 1979 the audience saw the film “The Amazing Adventures of Denis Korablev”, also consisting of two parts.

In addition, in 1974, an episode based on Dragunsky's story "Glory to Ivan Kozlovsky" was released in the Yeralash program.
