The American singer Lizzo says she longs for her own home for the first time during her travels.

Ten years ago, she slept in her car and on other people's couches, the 34-year-old said in a pre-release clip on the CBS Sunday Morning television show.

“And now, on this last tour, I've had the good fortune to sleep in some really beautiful places.

But I thought to myself: I miss my house.

I can't wait to get back to my own home and my own bed.” It was the first time Lizzo had thought like that.

"It's a milestone for me."

The singer-songwriter, who released her debut studio album in 2019 and received the People's Champion honor at the People's Choice Awards earlier in December, has now bought her first-ever home, according to CBS.
