Recently, when the staff of the Altun Mountain National Nature Reserve collected and sorted out the monitoring data of infrared cameras, they found that a large number of rare wild animals were captured, such as snow leopards, brown bears, badgers, small jackals, Tibetan foxes, wild yaks, Tibetan wild animals, etc. A variety of rare wild animals such as donkeys and Tibetan antelopes "show cuteness" to the mirror, and their naive looks are hilarious.

Altun Mountain National Nature Reserve is located in Bazhou, Xinjiang, with a total area of 45,000 square kilometers and an average altitude of 4,580 meters. It is the earliest plateau ecological protection area established in China.

Bordering Hoh Xil in Qinghai and Qiangtang Reserve in Tibet, together with the Sanjiangyuan Reserve in Qinghai, it constitutes the largest group of nature reserves in the Northwest Plateau of China.

In recent years, nearly a thousand infrared cameras have been installed in the Altun Mountain Nature Reserve, which have recorded many valuable images of wild animals and revealed the biodiversity of the Altun Mountain.

According to the latest published data, there are 17 species of national first-class protected animals and 31 species of national second-class protected animals in the Altun Mountain National Nature Reserve.

Some wild animals that were not common in the past are also increasing year by year, and the biodiversity has further improved.
