In Yakutia, the audience first saw "Exit" at the festival of short films "Republic of Cinema".

For the next three years, the awards ceremony took place without the participation of the presenter.

This decision was made by the organizers in connection with the increased criticism from the audience towards the hosts of the event.

The top prize at the 2022 Oscars went to CODA: The Child of Deaf Parents.

The Best Director award went to Jane Campion, who directed the dramatic western The Power of the Dog.

Denis Villeneuve's fantasy film "Dune" received six statuettes.

Among the winners were Will Smith, Jessica Chastain, Ariana Debos and Troy Kotzur, who received awards in acting categories.

At the same time, Will Smith found himself at the center of a scandal.

The actor punched comedian Chris Rock on stage for making a joke about his wife.

This situation became a loud and discussed event of the ceremony.

Subsequently, the actor publicly expressed regret over his act.
