Individuals in key management areas who raise more than the limited number of dogs shall be ordered by the public security organs to make corrections within a time limit; those who fail to make corrections within the time limit shall be fined between 200 and 1,000 yuan, and the dogs may be confiscated.

After the dog is confiscated, no more dogs can be kept within three years.

  The "Regulations" require that key management areas and general management areas shall not keep corresponding strenuous dogs and aggressive dogs in accordance with their respective catalogs of banned dogs.
