The media spokesman for the Jordanian Public Security Directorate announced the arrest of a girl who shot her family in Irbid, killing three and wounding two.
The spokesman said, in a statement published by the Directorate on its Facebook page, that a report was received by the Irbid Police Directorate that a 17-year-old girl, following family disputes, had shot her family members with a firearm, as the incident resulted in three deaths and two injuries, all of them family members.
According to the statement, the place was moved, the girl was arrested, the used firearm was seized, and an investigation began with her.
And local media reported that the girl had followed her brother outside the house and shot him deliberately, and the girl's brother tried to escape outside the house for fear of the crime that occurred inside the house, but she managed to shoot him.
The information confirmed that the mother was beaten with a sharp tool, "cleaver", and was subsequently admitted to the hospital, and her general condition is critical.
