The "Penguin Walk" was held at Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, and many tourists enjoyed the popular winter event.

At Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa City, in order to relieve the lack of exercise for the penguins, every year when the snow begins to pile up, the "Penguin Walk" is held outside the breeding facility.

This year's walk started on the 16th of this month, and on the 22nd, 17 king penguins walked a 500-meter round trip course for about 30 minutes.

Tourists from overseas have been gradually returning to the zoo since the new corona's waterfront measures were greatly eased in October, and many tourists on the 22nd were watching penguins waddling on the snow. I was enjoying my appearance.

A man in his 40s who visited from Yamaguchi Prefecture said, "I was surprised that the body was bigger than I thought. It was cute to walk around."

"Penguin Walk" will be held every day until mid-March next year, except for the year-end and New Year holidays from December 30th to January 1st.
