Around 7:30 a.m. on the 21st, there was an accident where a one-car train and a minivan-type passenger car collided at the railroad crossing of the Nagaragawa Railway, the third sector in Yamato-cho, Gujo City.



According to the police, Tamiko Nakajima (46), a nurse who lived nearby and was driving a passenger car in this accident, was taken to the hospital, but she was hit hard in the chest and died soon after.



The train was a one-car train bound for Mino-Ota from Hokuno at 7:09 am, and eight passengers and the driver were on board at the time of the accident, but there were no injuries.



The railroad crossing at the scene is about 800 meters north of Mamba Station on the Nagaragawa Railway, and although it has an alarm, it does not have a gate. I'm here.



The Nagaragawa Railway has been suspended since immediately after the accident on the inbound and outbound lines between Gujo Hachiman Station and Hokuno Station in Gujo City.
