Armed robbery to steal two burgers and 20 "nuggets"

The New York City Police Department has published a search ad for a thief who stole food from a McDonald's fast food outlet at gunpoint.

The police distributed pictures and video from the restaurant's surveillance cameras of the hungry thief, who fled with more than twenty small fried chicken pieces, and two double meat burgers from McDonald's branches in the Bronx neighborhood, after threatening the cashier with a knife.

In its statement, the police said, the man threatened the cashier before jumping over the service barrier in front of the shocked customers, to choose his fast food from the restaurant's refrigerators.

After that, the thief stuffed the pockets of his jacket and pants with more than twenty chicken “nuggets” and two cheeseburgers, before leaving the place.

The police, who mentioned the man's features and clothes, said that no one was hurt in the robbery.
