On the evening of the 20th, there was a fire that burned down one house in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, and two people were found dead from the burnt ruins.

After the fire, the police are confirming that two people have died because they have not been able to contact the elderly couple living in this house.

Around 5:00 pm on the 20th, a neighbor reported to the fire department that smoke was coming out of a house in Tai, Tamano City.



Six fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished in about two hours.



According to the police, Junichiro Sogo (91), his wife Hisako (89), and his 64-year-old eldest son were living in this house. However, I have lost contact with Mr. and Mrs. Sogo.



Police are investigating the cause of the fire, as well as confirming that two people died.



The site is a residential area about 800 meters east of Bizentai Station on the JR Uno Line.
