How many times have I heard the Emirati proverb: “So-and-so will wake up in Barzah,” and wondered about its compatibility with people we meet in reality!
“Taqif Barzah” is the gun, and the meaning of the proverb is: likening a man of little resourcefulness and uselessness to those guns that are hung for decoration in gatherings when they are empty of ammunition.
In our lives, there are many dazzling people who amaze you with their remarkable presence, and their interesting speech that “does not make us fat or sing of hunger.” You find them on any topic that raises the tone of their voices, and in some situations their poison-injected forearms stand out!
In short, they are those who are “afraid of their own shadow,” showing the “fake alien” side of their personalities, and in fact they are “pet cats” in their homes.. I leave you all the freedom of interpretation and imagination.
It is said that provocation is not in my nature, but the fact that I know about some people gives them the feeling that I am seeking to provoke them, especially those with whom I have a strong friendship.
Honestly, I cannot change my looks and my sarcastic smile when I contemplate some, especially those with a "liar puff" and people around them who give them a value that is many times more than what they give themselves!
They are exactly like the "Christmas tree" that fascinates young and old with its beauty, and many seek to take a picture next to it!
I do not deny that I enjoy recalling some of the stories I heard about them, especially from those close to them. Today we are in the era of “gossip.” You cannot silence mouths.
