[Explanation] At around 6:00 pm on December 15th, there was a scene of a suspected meteorite falling in the sky over Hangzhou and Jinhua, Zhejiang.

On the 16th, the reporter came to Jinhua Pujiang to learn about the situation from witnesses at the time.

[Concurrent] Chen Genhua, a villager in Maodian Village

Just beside the road, outside the village.

(evening) a little past seven thirty (discovered).

(I thought it was) The gas exploded, and it was very loud.

[Concurrent] Jiang Kangbiao, Propaganda Officer of Tanxi Town

After dinner, they went for a walk and walked to the bridge between Pinghu and Hongshan. When they got there, they saw a burst of light.

(Seeing) After a burst of light, my aunt was a little startled, she had never seen such a light before, and then my uncle said it was a shooting star.

[Explanation] In addition to some local villagers, the rare astronomical phenomena and the holes left by meteorites on the ground also attract many astronomy enthusiasts.

  [Concurrent] Astronomy enthusiast Mr. Zhang

I came from Ningbo, and I came here in the afternoon today, and I rushed all the way here in the afternoon.

(I see you have some tools on your head) A headlamp, a shovel, gloves, that's all.

This is very rare, as in China, in this case, there will only be such a (opportunity) to witness a meteorite fall every few years.

The last time I was probably in Songyuan, Jilin, and I remember it was Guilin, it was rare to be in Zhejiang, so I rushed here.

[Explanation] So, will this suspected meteorite cause radiation effects as people fear?

Chen Zhiping, a professor at Hangzhou Dianzi University and chairman of the Zhejiang Astronomical Society, told reporters that generally such small celestial bodies do not contain radioactive elements.

However, the specific substances contained in it still need to be further identified.

Judging from this report, the preliminary positioning is a kind of bolide, which is actually a relatively common astronomical phenomenon.

Then my personal suggestion is that, in fact, everyone can see this bolide, which is actually a very lucky thing.

Don't pick it up, don't touch it, sometimes the temperature will be very high when it is dropped, and it will burn you.

Don't rush to get it, or especially take it home, I don't agree with it, this is a natural phenomenon, it should be allowed to exist naturally, you can protect it, don't pick it up and take it home.
