In the review, after comparing the level of livelihood assistance with the expenditure situation of low-income households who do not receive public assistance at a meeting of experts, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare set a standard amount for each household type so that the respective amounts do not differ. It is customary to increase or decrease .



Regarding this, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has decided to leave the standard amount at the current level for two years from the next fiscal year onwards for household types that will receive a reduction if this procedure is applied, in light of the situation where prices are soaring. are making adjustments.



On the other hand, households that will receive an increase will be raised as usual.



The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will formally determine the standard amount for each household type in conjunction with the formulation of the next fiscal year's budget, and will reconsider the amount after fiscal 2025.
