After "Yangkang", the home should be disinfected and different parts should be disinfected using different disinfectants. Beijing disease control experts reminded——

Do not use alcohol for air disinfection

How to carry out home disinfection after "Yangkang"?

What is the point of disinfection?

How to use alcohol to disinfect correctly?

At present, many citizens have recovered from the new crown infection, and everyone is very concerned about home disinfection.

Yesterday, a reporter from the Beijing Youth Daily interviewed Tong Ying, deputy director of the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, to answer your questions.

Tong Ying said that the new crown is a respiratory infectious disease. At home, we must first emphasize opening windows for ventilation. Disinfection is an auxiliary measure, and the most important thing is to take good protection.

The new coronavirus is mainly transmitted through air, droplets, and aerosols, and can also be infected through contact with contaminated surfaces. It is very important to do a good job in personal protection and hand hygiene. At the same time, it is also necessary to do a good job of home disinfection.

After "Yangkang", it is recommended to do a thorough disinfection at home.

The parts that are frequently touched by hands are the focus of disinfection, such as doorknobs, faucets, landline phones, tabletops, toilets, etc.

  What are the disinfection supplies?

How to configure scientifically?

Tong Ying suggested that disinfectants should be equipped, such as chlorine-containing disinfectants, quaternary ammonium salt disinfectants, hand disinfectants, etc., or use disinfectant wipes (alcohol or quaternary ammonium salts), and prepare protective masks, disposable gloves, etc. supplies.

Disinfectants should be prepared immediately after use. Take a chlorine-containing disinfectant with an effective chlorine content of 5% as an example: when preparing 500mg/L, take 1 part of disinfectant and add 99 parts of water; when preparing 1000mg/L, take 1 part Add 49 parts of water to disinfectant; when preparing 2000mg/L, take 1 part of disinfectant and add 24 parts of water; when preparing 5000mg/L, take 1 part of disinfectant and add 9 parts of water, mix well and use.

How to carry out disinfection for different parts of the home?

Tong Ying said that the surfaces of tables, chairs, door handles, faucets and other objects can be wiped and disinfected with 1000mg/L chlorine-containing disinfectant, and wiped clean with clean water after 30 minutes of action.

Small items such as mobile phones, remote controls, and mice can be wiped and disinfected with alcohol wipes.

Surfaces such as the ground and walls that may be contaminated can be wiped or sprayed with 1000mg/L chlorine-containing disinfectant, and the disinfection time should not be less than 30 minutes.

Surfaces contaminated by saliva and sputum should be disinfected at any time, using 1000mg/L chlorine-containing disinfectant.

If it is polluted by a large amount of pollutants such as vomit and excrement, use disposable water-absorbing materials (such as gauze, rags, etc.) The surface is wiped and disinfected with 1000mg/L chlorine-containing disinfectant.

Tableware is recommended to be cleaned first and then disinfected. Boiling for 15 minutes is the first choice, or it can be soaked in 500mg/L chlorine-containing disinfectant for 15 minutes, and then washed with water.

Clothes, bedding, towels and other textiles can be disinfected by boiling for 15 minutes, or soaked in 1000mg/L quaternary ammonium salt disinfectant or other clothing disinfectant for 30 minutes, and then cleaned as usual.

Hygienic utensils such as mops and rags should be dedicated to special areas to avoid crossing.

The rags used by quarantined personnel and co-residents should not intersect, and the rags used in toilets and other areas should not intersect.

After use, immerse and disinfect with 1000mg/L chlorine-containing disinfectant, rinse with clean water after 30 minutes, and dry and store.

For commonly used refrigerators, the refrigerator must be unplugged before disinfection, and can be wiped with alcohol or chlorine-containing disinfectant.

If you think the food in the refrigerator may be contaminated, you have two options. First, discard the food after surface disinfection; Eat it after soaking through.

In the bathroom, the toilet seat cushion and its surroundings can be wiped and disinfected with a disinfectant solution containing 1000mg/L-2000mg/L of available chlorine; toilet doorknobs, faucets and other parts that are frequently touched by hands can be wiped and disinfected with a disinfectant solution containing 1000mg/L of available chlorine. After a few minutes, wipe it clean with clean water and strengthen the bathroom exhaust.

How to dispose of household waste?

Tong Ying said that when dealing with general domestic waste, it should be collected and cleaned up in time according to the requirements of "disinfection first, double bagging". After the opening of the bag, the surface of the garbage bag is sprayed and disinfected, and then transported to the garbage disposal point.

In addition, for items that are not suitable for disinfection treatment, such as books, etc., they can be disposed of in a sealed and static manner.

Tong Ying reminded that disinfectants, especially chlorine-containing disinfectants, are irritating to a certain extent, and personal protection should be paid attention to when preparing and using them, and prevent splashing into the eyes.

At the same time, the disinfectant is corrosive to a certain extent. Pay attention to wipe it with clean water after the disinfection time is up to prevent damage to the items.

Before using the disinfectant, carefully read the instructions of the disinfection product, and use it in strict accordance with the scope of use, method of use, concentration of action, and time of action specified in the instructions.

Alcohol spray is only suitable for wiping and disinfecting the surface of small items. Alcohol cannot be used for air disinfection, especially in confined spaces. The concentration of ethanol in the air > 3.3% will cause fire or even explosion.

Some people are used to spraying alcohol on themselves with an alcohol spray can to disinfect themselves after returning home from outside. Regarding this practice, Tong Ying said, first, alcohol spraying is not safe, and large-scale spraying can easily cause explosions and fires.

Second, even if the alcohol is sprayed on the clothes, the amount is not enough to achieve disinfection.

After going home, just take off your clothes and hang them in a ventilated place.
