China News Service, December 10. According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, yesterday, precipitation was scarce in most parts of the country, with moderate snowfall in northwest Xinjiang and local heavy snowfall in Ili Prefecture.

This morning, in parts of southern Hebei, eastern Henan, western Shandong, and Jiangsu, there was heavy fog with visibility less than 1 kilometer, and local visibility was less than 50 meters.

  From the 10th to the 11th, affected by the weak cold air, the temperature in the area north of the Yangtze River will drop by 4-6°C successively, and the local temperature will drop by about 8°C, accompanied by northerly winds of magnitude 4-5 and gusts of magnitude 7.

From the 11th to the 14th, another strong cold air will affect our country from west to east from the northwest region. The temperature in most parts of the central and eastern regions will drop by 4-8℃. The regional wind force is 4 to 6, and the gust is 7 to 9.

From the 15th to the 17th, there will also be a strong cold air affecting our country.

Precipitation is scarce in most parts of the country

  In the next three days, precipitation will be scarce in most parts of the country.

There is light rain in parts of the eastern part of Southwest China, eastern Jiangnan, eastern Jianghuai, and Taiwan Island, and moderate to heavy rain locally in Taiwan Island; northern Xinjiang and western mountainous areas of southern Xinjiang, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, northern North China, northern and eastern Northeast China, etc. There will be light snow, local moderate snow or heavy snow in some areas.

Specific forecast for the next three days

  From 08:00 on December 10th to 08:00 on the 11th, there were light to moderate snow or sleet in parts of northern Xinjiang and southern Xinjiang, southern Liaoning, and Shandong Peninsula. Among them, there was heavy snow in the southern part of the Liaodong Peninsula (5 ~7mm).

There was light rain in parts of southeastern Yunnan, western Guizhou, eastern Jiangsu, southern Anhui, southwestern Zhejiang, most of Fujian, and northern Taiwan Island. Among them, the northern part of Taiwan Island had moderate to heavy rain (25-40 mm).

There are 4-6 winds in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, most of North China, most of Huanghuai, eastern northern Xinjiang, and western Tibet.

The Bohai Sea, most of the Yellow Sea, most of the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the ocean to the east of Taiwan, the Bashi Channel, and most of the South China Sea have winds of magnitude 6 to 7 and gusts of magnitude 8 to 9 (see Figure 1).

  From 08:00 on December 11 to 08:00 on December 12, there was light snow or sleet in parts of northern Xinjiang, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, northwestern Heilongjiang, northern Hebei, southern Gansu, southwestern Shaanxi, and eastern Sichuan Plateau.

There was light rain in parts of the Sichuan Basin, western Guizhou, southeastern Yunnan, central and western Fujian, and most of Taiwan Island. Among them, there was moderate to heavy rain locally in the northern part of Taiwan Island.

There are 5 to 7 winds in parts of Hexi, Gansu, central and western Inner Mongolia, and southern Qinghai.

There are winds of magnitude 6 to 7 and gusts of magnitude 8 to 9 in parts of the Bohai Sea, the northern part of the Yellow Sea, most of the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the ocean to the east of Taiwan, the Bashi Strait, and most of the South China Sea (see Figure 2).

  From 08:00 on December 12 to 08:00 on December 13, there was light snow or sleet in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia, northern and eastern Northeast China, northern Xinjiang and western mountainous areas of southern Xinjiang, and southeastern Sichuan Plateau, with local moderate snow .

There was light rain and local moderate rain in parts of the southern Sichuan Basin, northwestern Guizhou, southern Yunnan, and most of Taiwan Island.

In most parts of Inner Mongolia, western Tibet, and northern North China, there are winds of magnitude 4 to 6 and above.

The Bohai Sea, most of the Yellow Sea, most of the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the ocean to the east of Taiwan, the Bashi Channel, and most of the South China Sea have winds of magnitude 6 to 7 and gusts of magnitude 8 to 9 (see Figure 3).
