A 20-year-old university student died in a hotel room in Nagoya, and the police found that the drugs left in the room contained sleeping ingredients.

Police are investigating the relationship between the three men and women arrested on suspicion of murder and the woman, and the relationship between drugs and death.

On the 6th of this month, Yuri Kako (20), a university student living in Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture, was found dead in a hotel room in Naka Ward, Nagoya City, with a bag over her head. Mayu Watanabe (39), a part-time worker from Fukushima Prefecture who was arrested on suspicion of murder for suffocating a woman, and Kenta Suzuki (48), a self-proclaimed temporary worker from Aichi Prefecture, were arrested on suspicion of murder on the 9th. An 18-year-old female college student from the county was sent to the public prosecutor's office.



A police interview revealed that drugs were left in the room where the dead woman was found, and that this drug contained a sleeping ingredient.



The bag over the woman's head was taped around her neck, but there was no sign of resistance to her body.



Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the death of the woman, including the relationship between the woman and the three and the relationship with drugs.
