On December 8, the Pingtan Racing Carnival officially kicked off.
This carnival includes two major races, China GT China Supercar Championship and Shell Heineken FIA Formula 4. The new Pingtan Ruyi Lake International Circuit also welcomes national competitions for the first time.
After the completion of the renovation, asphalt is laid on the entire section of the track, and concrete walls and crash barriers are installed. The track has 17 corners in total, with a designed maximum speed of 265.25 kilometers per hour and a minimum speed of 91.86 kilometers per hour.
The organizer said that the race was held on a brand-new city street track, which was not only exciting but also very challenging. It hoped that with the help of the two major auto races, it would help the Pingtan Motorsports Carnival to create a landmark tourism IP and promote the formation of Pingtan International Tourism Island The distinctive cultural influence and tourism attraction will shape a new image of Pingtan and create a unique spark of "tourism + racing".
It is reported that Pingtan Station is the annual finale of these two major competitions. The final ranking of the annual standings will be determined in Pingtan, and the ownership of the annual honor will also be settled.
