Through a group of rare photographs that were not previously shown, and dating back to December 2, 1971, photographer Ramesh Shukla displayed works in Mina Al Salam in Dubai, documenting aspects of the UAE's heritage, and transporting visitors on a journey that zigzags through the most prominent historical turning points. The exhibition also shows the process of growth and prosperity of the state, and the tremendous stages of change and development that it went through, through pictures of its leaders, its neighborhoods, its people and its nature.

Shukla's images occupy a great place in the Emirates, due to its privacy and distinction, especially his image of the late founder of the state, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, which was used in the Expo 2020 Dubai passport, and in the 50 dirham banknote issued last year. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the state.
