Indian rescue teams are still racing against time to recover an 8-year-old boy who fell into a narrow well, 121 meters deep, in a remote area, similar to the tragedy of the child Rayan in Morocco.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" said that the Indian child, Tanmay Sahu, fell into the well while he was playing in one of the fields of his village located in the state of Madhya Pradesh, and it is located at a depth of 16 meters (55 feet).

She stated that the state's disaster response force rushed to save the child, and he was supplied with oxygen so that he could still breathe.

According to Al-Arabiya.net, the rescue teams confirmed that the process of removing the child had stalled and would take time, due to the heavy presence of rocks in the area.

The father of the child, Tanmay Saho, stated that his son fell into the well on Tuesday around five o'clock in the evening local time, while the rescue operation began after about an hour.

About 500 people, including rescue officials, police and army personnel, are participating in the operation. The authorities said that weather conditions were hampering the rescue operation.
