A second potential victim heard in the Yannick Agnel case

Yannick Agnel, 30, was indicted in December 2021 for "rape and sexual assault on a 15-year-old minor" and placed under judicial supervision.

The complaint had been filed by the daughter of his former coach Lionel Horter, for facts dating back to 2016. She was then 13 years old, and the swimmer was 24 years old.

A few weeks after this indictment, the prosecution had widened the investigation by issuing a supplementary indictment for facts "of sexual assault on a minor under the age of 15" on another potential victim, Edwige Roux-Morizot further indicated to the AFP.

One of Lionel Horter's daughter's lawyers, Me Thomas Wetterer, expressed his "relief": "It's been a year now that she has been the target of slander which says that her complaint is only the fruit of the instrumentalization of his entourage to take revenge (for a) commercial dispute between Yannick Agnel and the club".

“With this potential second victim, our client is finally free of this slander.
