Adobe intends to write off 100 jobs

The US computer software company Adobe intends to write off about 100 jobs in order to reduce costs.

Bloomberg news agency indicated that the expected cut in the number of jobs in Adobe is much less than the thousands of jobs that other US technology companies, such as Meta Platforms, owner of Facebook, Amazon.com e-commerce and Apple Electronics, decided to write off.

Reports stated that Adobe will not carry out large-scale layoffs and will continue to hire new employees.

The reports also said that the company will transfer some of its employees to jobs that support vital initiatives along with writing off a few of them.

In a report yesterday, Bloomberg indicated expectations of a massive wave of layoffs in US companies in various sectors, on the back of fears that the US economy will enter a recession during the current year.
