On April 14, I walked into Houkeng Village, Xinming Township, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. The tea garden at an altitude of about 500 meters was surrounded by clouds and fog all year round.
Moisturized by the spring breeze and rain, the branches of Houkui all over the mountains and plains reveal strong leaf buds, and the industrious tea farmers are busy picking new tea, which outlines the spring scene of a tea town with green water and green mountains and rural revitalization.
[Explanation] According to the introduction, ten years ago, it was not the "Houkeng Village" as people said, but "Sanhe Village", because it was the founding place of one of China's four famous teas, Taiping Houkui. The core production area, "Sanhe Village" was renamed "Houkeng Village" in April 2013.
[Same period] Fang Jifan, secretary of the party branch and director of the village committee of Houkeng Village, Xinming Township, Huangshan City. We were called Sanhe Village at the beginning. Sanhe Village is an old revolutionary base area. Why was it changed to Houkeng (Village)?
Because our Houkeng brand has already started, as our corporate brand.
As the secretary of the general party branch of the village and the director of the village, I can't just be rich. After I get rich, the village (regardless of it), I want to build my hometown well.
Then how do we publicize our platform and the stable income of our tea farmers who are growing every year, so I have a bold (idea) to change our brand of Houkeng trademark into a village.
In the past, only one villager group was very rich. Then I changed a village, and the people in my large administrative village were happy.
[Explanation] Houkeng Village, the core production area of Taiping Houkui, is located deep in the mountains, and the traffic is very inconvenient.
At the same time, it is even more difficult to "go down the mountain" with fresh tea leaves. The next time the villagers go up the mountain, they will be covered in ashes on sunny days and muddy on their feet in rainy days.
Ten years later, through the efforts of the village secretary and all villagers, Houkeng Village has undergone earth-shaking changes.
[Same period] Fang Yuxuan, a villager in Houkeng Village, Huangshan District, Huangshan City, over the past ten years, our village has undergone earth-shaking changes, which are reflected in the road traffic, as well as the transformation of our rural power grid. Now it has completely solved the difficulty of ordinary people traveling. question.
The transformation of the rural power grid has completely solved the problem of electricity consumption in the process of tea production by farmers.
[Same period] Ma Jinfeng, a villager in Houkeng Village, Huangshan District, Huangshan City Ten years ago, our family income was 100,000 to 200,000 yuan, but ten years later we doubled it, to about 300,000 to 400,000 yuan.
[Same period] Zhu Nengwu, a tea buyer, I remember that in 2007, 2008 and 2009, this place was full of dirt roads, and then the houses were all one or two floors, and some were bungalows, and there were two earth houses above. But now they have become small western-style buildings, because the people here are rich.
[Explanation] Nowadays, through the construction of infrastructure such as rural roads and agricultural power grids, Houkeng Village has solved the worries of tea farmers in picking, making and selling tea.
Fang Jifan, who is the national intangible heritage inheritor of Taiping Houkui's production skills, is constantly trying to combine it with modern technology while inheriting the traditional handicraft tea making.
[Same period] Fang Jifan, secretary of the Party branch and director of the village committee of Houkeng Village, Xinming Township, Huangshan City, hyped it up by hand, then our master master's high-end tea can be finished. The average young man's hand, (pot) has more than 100 degrees , He may not be able to go down, then he can (use) electricity and control the temperature to fry tea, this is one aspect.
The second one is that we used to press the tea with our hands in the traditional way. In the past, the calluses of the tea farmers were relatively thick, but now (the workers) the calluses are afraid of being hot, and the temperature is more than 100 degrees.
The second one is that sweating is unhygienic, so we use gauze now to improve the model of traditional crafts and modern crafts, so that the quality of our products can reach a certain stable standard.
[Explanation] According to Fang Jifan, Huangshan District currently has a tea garden area of 75,000 mu, with a total output of 1,484.8 tons of tea, including 743.2 tons of Taiping Houkui.
After years of development with enterprises driving tea farmers, the collective economy of Houkeng Village has changed from "negative" to "rich", the "small earthen houses" of every household in the village have become "small western-style buildings", and the "small tea gardens" have become The "industrial base" has been established, and the overall appearance of the villagers has also been greatly improved.
[Same period] Fang Jifan, secretary of the Party branch of Houkeng Village, Xinming Township, Huangshan City, and director of the village committee, Taiping Houkui, now has a brand value of more than 3.7 billion, so such a brand value.
So after so many years of developing and creating a brand, the common people became rich in 2015. The common people elected me to be the village director in the village. From 2017 onwards, in 2018, the Party branch secretary and the village director were shoulder-to-shoulder, until now.
This is the face of our village. Houkeng Village is a beautiful village in the country, and it is also a demonstration village of one village and one product in the country... many honors. Our company is also a well-known trademark in China and a time-honored enterprise in China, so it is a double harvest, and the company drives tea farmers (get rich).
