Aveyron was strongly affected by the drought during the year 2022. As such, an early recognition of agricultural disasters has been launched, so that compensation is paid to the professionals concerned.

This is a deposit that will first be received throughout the month of December, reports

Center Presse Aveyron

.

“Only eligible files will benefit from these installments of 50% compensation, calculated on the basis of the provisional rates” first recalled the prefecture, quoted by our colleagues.

A final rate to be fixed

But don't panic, those who are not eligible for this deposit may be eligible for the balance.

The final loss rate has not yet been set and should be set in mid-December by the National Committee for Risk Management in Agriculture (CNGRA).

"The departmental committee of expertise has requested a final rate higher than the provisional loss rate adopted at the national level" indicates the prefecture.

And to add: "Certain cases may therefore become eligible in relation to this final rate and benefit from compensation, even though they have not been able to receive a deposit".

To do this, there is no need to file a new file.
