SBS commentators Park Ji-seong and Lee Seung-woo, and caster Bae Seong-jae gave warm encouragement to the players despite the deep regret of losing in the round of 16.

SBS commentators Park Ji-seong and Lee Seung-woo, along with caster Bae Seong-jae, relayed the 2022 Qatar World Cup round of 16 held at the 974 Stadium in Doha, Qatar at 4 am on the 6th (Korean time).

South Korea lost 1-4 to Brazil and ended with a disappointing result, but the 'Bakseung Trio' created a 'Miracle in Doha' and advanced to the round of 16, applauding the players who burned their fighting spirit until the last moment.

In today's game, Brazil was pushed into the offensive from the beginning, and eventually led the game with difficulty, allowing 4 goals in the first half alone.

After the fourth run, Park Ji-seong, commentator, expressed regret, saying, "Every time I give the opponent a chance, I concede.

Then commentator Park Ji-seong emphasized, "I hope you will actively shoot when you have a chance to shoot."

Baek Seung-ho, who was substituted in the second half, tried to reverse the atmosphere by making a goal through an active shot, as if responding to this, but unfortunately, there was not enough time to turn around.

After the whistle sounded at the end of the game, SBS commentator Park Ji-seong applauded, saying, "Korean soccer has shown what it has been preparing for four years from beginning to end. It is great to advance to the round of 16 after 12 years. I want to thank you and praise you."

As a 'eternal captain', he encouraged captain Son Heung-min, saying, "I say sorry, but the fans will say thank you. You showed such a good game."

Commentator Lee Seung-woo also raised his voice, saying, "I can see how hard Korean players played. I am so grateful and proud."

SBS commentator Lee Seung-woo did not forget his promise to play in the World Cup four years later as a player.

Lee Seung-woo, who made his debut as a commentator through this World Cup and swept the topic with his splendid wit in every game, said, “I think I will learn a lot while serving as a commentator and grow as a player. I want to do it. I want to step on the grass at the World Cup and score a goal.”

Regarding this, Park Ji-seong, commentator, cheered, saying, "I hope that I can show you how to lead Korea in the stadium in 4 years."

Meanwhile, commentator Park Ji-seong and caster Bae Seong-jae will broadcast the remaining tournament matches and finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
