This is the first time in Japan that the "AV New Law" that came into effect in June has been applied and arrested.

Takashi Kadoya (50), an executive of a video production company living in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, was arrested.

According to investigative sources, the executive was accused of not issuing contracts to multiple performers during the production of adult videos between August and October this year. There is a suspicion of violating the AV New Law.

In order to prevent forced appearances in adult videos, the ``New AV Act'' was enforced in June this year, obliging the producer and the performers to sign a contract in writing. Penalties were also established for cases such as when explanations were given or when documents were not handed over at the time of contract.

The officer was arrested and charged with posting an uncensored video of an obscene act on a video posting site, but it is suspected that he did not issue a contract to the performers when producing another video. Something new has been discovered.

It means that it is the first time in the country that the "AV new law" is applied and arrested.
