[Concurrent] Wu Shenkuo, doctoral supervisor of Law School of Beijing Normal University

This year is indeed a very important time point. On the one hand, our 1982 Constitution has been promulgated and implemented for 40 years, and on the other hand, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was successfully held this year. In fact, we have entered a new era of forging ahead.

From our public's point of view, fully implementing the constitution will enable us to enjoy our rights better and fulfill our obligations more clearly on the one hand, and on the other hand, it will also allow us to better participate in national governance and the national governance system and governance capacity building in the historical process.

[Same period] Liu Yuetong, assistant judge of the Fourth Civil Division of Beijing Xicheng District Court

The Constitution is actually closely related to our lives.

It protects us from the moment we are born.

The right to equal education, the right to vote and the right to be elected, when we form our own family and have children, then the Constitution also stipulates the rights and obligations between parents and children.

When we reach the age of retirement, the Constitution also guarantees our basic retirement life.

[Same period] Liu Yuetong, assistant judge of the Fourth Civil Division of Xicheng District Court

The National Constitution Day is established to form a social atmosphere in which the whole country respects the Constitution, puts the Constitution first, and uses the Constitution to protect the rights and interests of the people.
