For more than 50 years, Qin Binghe's footsteps have been all over the streets and alleys of Lucheng District, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province. He has used photography to record the changes of his hometown for half a century.

  [Explanation] 72-year-old Qin Binghe is from Shenquan Village, Lucheng District. He has been interested in photography since he was a student.

In the 1970s, Qin Binghe began to study photography. In 1972, he saved money to buy his first camera.

  [Concurrent] Qin Binghe

  I am an old photographer. I have been engaged in photography since 1970. Over the past 50 years, I have bought 36 cameras. I started to use domestic cameras to take black and white photos. After 1985, I started to take color photos.

  [Explanation] His home is filled with photos, photo albums, photography books, etc. he has taken over the years. On the desk, there are all kinds of cameras. These collections are all his favorite things and accompany him. Record the customs of the hometown, urban and rural changes.

  [Explanation] The old residential area has a new look, and the main road of the Zhonghua Street renovation and upgrading project is open to traffic... Scenes and scenes were captured and presented by him.

In a panorama of Lucheng taken by Qin Binghe in 2004, there are very few high-rise buildings with more than ten floors. Today, high-rise buildings are rising from the ground, and the development and changes of the city are clear at a glance.

  Our life is getting better and better, especially the demolition of Lucheng, the changes in the past ten years, the installation of heating, the laying of water pipes, and gas. I have taken a lot of photos and recorded this livelihood project.

  [Explanation] Over the years, Qin Binghe's photographic works have also been included in "Lucheng Chronicle" and other books one after another. "When you come from your hometown, you should know the stories of your hometown." He has been taking pictures for more than 50 years, and the lens has become his unique way to record his hometown. .

  [Explanation] Now, he has updated his photography equipment again and used drones.

I hope that I can better record my hometown from another angle.
