Scottish photographer Bruce came to China in 1987 and was fascinated by Chinese culture.

In the next 35 years, Bruce traveled all over the country and recorded the historical changes of a country and a city with his camera. In the process, he also changed from a "little cloth" to an "old cloth".

As the axis of Beijing city construction, the central axis of Beijing is a master of Chinese architectural culture, embodying the concepts of "centeredness", "symmetry" and "harmony" in traditional Chinese culture.

As a photographer of cultural themes, Bruce is very fond of the historical development and cultural protection of the central axis.

In this video, Lao Bu came to the northern end of the central axis - the Bell and Drum Tower.

The sound of the clock tower and the drum tower echoed over the ancient capital for more than 600 years.

Today, although the "morning bells and evening drums" are no longer there, the Bell and Drum Towers still watch here.

What kind of time stories do they record the hutongs and residents in Beijing?

Walk close to the Bell and Drum Tower with Lao Bu, and walk towards the authentic old Beijing life.
