Mutual learning of Chinese and Western art and culture European masters play "Oriental Melody"

  In the smooth and vigorous rhythm of the "Oriental Melody" piano concerto, on October 29, the "Oriental Melody" concert kicked off in the beautiful Brussels.

Belgian musicians Jean Malone, Zuo Han and the Belgian "Yiyun" women's string quartet brought the audience a wonderful performance of Chinese and foreign famous songs.

  Since then, at a series of unique "Oriental Melody" concerts held in many places in Europe, familiar Chinese music such as "Kangding Love Song" and "The Moon Represents My Heart" have been combined with "Praise of Love" and "Strings in G Major". Western classics such as "Serenade" were staged in turn, and European musicians composed and performed "Dream Flight", "Snow River" and "Eternal" with the traditional Chinese instrument dulcimer, bringing the audience to fully appreciate the unique charm of different music cultures.

  Jean Malone is a Belgian pianist and composer. He has actively participated in cultural exchanges between China and Europe for 20 years.

Concerned about China's development, he successively composed music works such as the theme song of the Belgian Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo "Our Song" and "The Chime of Dawn" and "Cherry Blossom Luo". "Folk Song" and other programs were recorded and performed in Beijing, Shanghai, Changchun, Shenzhen, Guizhou and other places.

  Zuo Han came into contact with traditional Chinese music while living in Qingdao, and has been fascinated by Chinese music since then.

He has collaborated with Chinese musicians many times, composing music for traditional Chinese instruments such as Yangqin, Sheng, Pipa and Dizi.

During the performance, he switched perfectly and freely between the piano and the dulcimer, two completely different Chinese and Western instruments, and performed the "Moon Dreamer", "Flying Dream" and "Moon Wish" series inspired by the Chinese myth "Chang'e Flying to the Moon".
