Human rights activist Bianca Jagger continues her fight against political repression by the Ortega government in her native Nicaragua.

Suspected of being an ally of the opposition, the Catholic Church is also a victim of power, several bishops and priests being imprisoned.

On France 24, Bianca Jagger appeals to Pope Francis, asking him to officially condemn the actions of Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo.

She also urges the international community to impose "more effective economic sanctions" in the face of a "murderous regime".
