set on Monday November 28 to promote a new documentary on Johnny's life, broadcast on December 8 on M6, and to discuss the exhibition in tribute to her husband.

Faced with Yann Barthès, the mother of Jade and Joy indulged in a few secrets about her tumultuous marriage with the Taulier.

Surprisingly, she couldn't call him "Johnny".

"I called him 'my man'"

"He hated it deeply, it was horrible for him that I called him that. I tried after. I called him 'my man', 'my lover', but he left and I get to the call Johnny today," she said emotionally.

Laeticia thus assured that it was at the time impossible for her to call him “Johnny” because “Johnny” did not belong to him.

"He has always shared his life with his fans, with the French, with his audience," she said.

“I accompanied him all his life”

During her interview with Yann Barthès, Laeticia Hallyday also spoke at length about her life as a couple with Johnny, marked by ups and downs.

Aged only 19 when she met the rocker, who was then 51 years old, Laeticia was a tormented young woman.

And Johnny, too, had to face his demons.

His self-destructive temper caused his wife to suffer for a long time.

"I was trying to understand why. And that's how I accompanied him all his life, trying not to judge the harm he was doing to himself, then the harm he was doing to others too", she said.

According to Laeticia, Johnny "repaired" when they adopted their two daughters, Jade and Joy.
