Bono, the singer of U2, is full of praise for the French head of state.
On France Inter Monday, November 28 to promote his autobiography "Surrender", the star gave a pro-Macron speech and praised the president's "verbal and intellectual acuity".

"I talk about him behind the scenes. He solves the problems. I am not qualified to comment on French politics, it is the voters who must do it. But, he rolls up his sleeves, he is there", assures the leader of U2 , who met Emmanuel Macron several times to talk about his humanitarian commitment.
The singer and the president notably saw each other in 2017 and 2018 to discuss the subject of the development of Africa.
Bono compares Macron to a Silicon Valley start-up executive
Bono believes that "not all leaders in the world are as smart" as Emmanuel Macron, who he says looks like a Silicon Valley start-up executive.
The U2 singer thus admires the head of state's "verbal and intellectual acuity", as well as his "unusual energy".
This declaration delighted all the macronists who expressed their enthusiasm on Twitter.
