A singer-songwriter in charge of theme songs for popular anime has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department for allegedly injuring an acquaintance by pulling her hair.
Yuya Arai (26), a singer-songwriter who is active under the name of "Yellow Akiyama", was arrested.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, it is suspected that he was injured by pulling the hair of an acquaintance's woman at her home in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.
He was arrested on the 23rd of this month, and has admitted to the investigation.
According to his own website, he sings the theme song for the popular TV anime "My Hero Academia", and also provides songs for other popular anime works.
