The program I performed this time is the third movement of Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto.

I think it is a very, very honor to see artists from different parts of the world and different seniors this time.

I think I can learn a lot of different music knowledge this time, and hope to bring music to the audience.

[Commentary] In the second half of the concert, traditional Chinese musical instruments will play the leading role. Guzheng, pipa, erhu, etc. will appear one after another. Waiting for the interpretation, won the applause of the scene.

We invited two symphony orchestras this time, one is the Hong Kong Symphony Orchestra, and the other is the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Symphony Orchestra. The two orchestras collaborate with us in different forms of music expression.

In addition, I also performed a series of modern works called New Age with other musicians, such as erhu, guqin, piano, pipa, etc., which we call the trend of the century.

Especially in Hong Kong, a region where Chinese and Western cultures are developed side by side, our form of performance is very popular. There are a lot of Western music including opera, including piano and violin, as well as Chinese national style. Our traditional culture, such as Guqin and Guzheng , erhu, and pipa, these are the biggest features of our concert.

[Concurrent] The famous erhu player Guo Gan

The theme of this performance is "I Love Hong Kong", so this theme is particularly meaningful and cheerful, so I first chose a new "Horse Racing" for my track.

Everyone knows the erhu tune of "Horse Racing", so I re-arranged it, and found a French composer. We re-arranged it, and the symphony version, so this version is quite special.

We also hope that through this concert, we can show the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures in Hong Kong, and the charm of an international city that combines Chinese and Western cultures.

[Explanation] It is worth mentioning that the Hong Kong City Chorus, an amateur chorus group composed of music lovers, presented excerpts from the musical "Phantom of the Opera" and "Under the Lion Rock" and "Pearl of the Orient" with Hong Kong characteristics. The artistic literacy of the citizens of Hong Kong as a place where Chinese and Western cultures meet.

[Explanation] It is reported that this concert is the second concert launched after the first "Love You Love You" Hong Kong 2021 concert in March 2021 was successfully held.

The purpose of this concert is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, encourage citizens to work hard, and call on young people to learn artistic skills and deepen their understanding of national culture through music.
