The departure of the poet of noble sadness and painful grief, Salah Haj Saeed

Death passed away this morning, Wednesday, the Sudanese poet Salah Haj Saeed, one of the most prominent singing poets who enriched the Sudanese literary and artistic scene with “Darr Khaleda”, in which he enriched the listener’s conscience with the most beautiful and tender songs.

The late poet is considered one of the great poets who left a great imprint on the map of Sudanese singing, as he formed wonderful duets with a number of great Sudanese artists, most notably the late Mustafa Sayed Ahmed, who sang to him with more than fourteen works, the most famous of which are “Noble Sorrow”, “Painful Sorrow” and “ distance".

The late Salah Haj Saeed cooperated with the singer Muhammad Mirghani in many joint works, the most important of which is “We Didn’t Tell You”, in addition to his cooperation with the good artist Abdullah through “I found him standing waiting, eyes longing for his appearance.”

The late “Al-Balabel” group praised the song “The Light of Our Home and Our Home Street”, in addition to an experience with the musician Muhammad Al-Amin, to whom he sang “Ya Narcissus” and “Ya Beautiful, Ya Wonderful”, which are poetic contributions no less wonderful than those he made to his late friend Mustafa Sayed Ahmed And with him, I created what looked like an art workshop that presented the highest works of art.

The late poet is considered one of the distinguished poetic voices in the Sudanese song heritage.

Perhaps he experienced two times in the path of lyrical poetic development, as he contributed with the generation that emerged in the seventies in adapting the song to the emotion of the stage, but Salah was able at the end of the seventies to write lines to update the song with the advent of a rebellious generation in the format of the poem approved by the Texts Committee of the Sudanese Radio.

And when the singer Mustafa Sayed Ahmed appeared as a new star in the sky of melody, Salah found a space in it to broadcast the buried poem through the sinkhole of grief, and the illusion of the cause.

And when the eighties and nineties passed, our poet was able to expand on the space of a lush experience from the orchard of his late friend Mustafa Sayed Ahmed, for whom he composed "Distance" as the first work he launched in the world of composition.

The late Salah El-Din Haj Saeed was born in the city of Khartoum, where he studied elementary, middle and high school, and graduated from Cairo University, Khartoum branch, where he studied law in 1974 AD.
