The romantic comedy
Love Actually
released in 2003 will celebrate its 20th anniversary a little early in the United States!
The ABC News channel had the idea of offering the broadcast of a special program devoted to the cult Christmas film just before the holidays.
Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later – A Diane Sawyer Special
(Laughter and secret of
Love Actually
: 20 years later) should delight fans since several actors have responded.
As a pre-Christmas gift, viewers will be able to find Emma Thompson and Hugh Grant.
Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson and writer/director Richard Curtis will also be in attendance, while a message from Martine McCutcheon will air.
The late Alan Rickman (who died in 2016), Andrew Lincoln, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rodrigo Santoro, Martin Freeman, Joanna Page and Liam Neeson will be missed.
A Christmas tradition
ABC News said that during this meeting, various topics will be discussed, including how the film has become a Christmas tradition and a worldwide success.
Some filming secrets and cult sequences will be released, but not everything will revolve around the feature film.
Love in a broad sense will be at the heart of the program.
Diane Sawyer and her colleagues will also look at "how the Covid-19 pandemic has refocused how we love and connect", as well as "the pervasive acts of kindness within our families and communities".
Everything will, logically, be commented on with the cast of the film by Richard Curtis.
In the absence of being able to watch the American channel on November 29 to discover this special 20 years,
Love Actually
is still available on certain streaming platforms.
Christmas is in just over a month, that's reason enough to (re) see it.
