At the end of October 2019, "Chocolate" came to our Zhangqiu bar from Dalian. After arriving, it just happened to catch up with this season, and I had a slight cold. We tentatively gave it a little green onion and garlic, and let it eat One point, the result is very good, "Chocolate" also likes to eat, "Chocolate" didn't adapt to us when he first came here. After a long time, we communicated with it slowly, and the other one is to treat it like our own. Like a child, after a long time, it will believe us.

[Explanation] The staff told reporters that chimpanzees have a relatively short period of cold and mild symptoms. Under normal circumstances, they can recover within 3 days.

These Zhangqiu scallions are grown by the park itself.

When the seasons change, they will add green onions and garlic to the food of the chimpanzees, which can reduce inflammation and prevent colds.

Generally, a chimpanzee will eat one green onion and three or four cloves of garlic a day.

[Explanation] It is understood that not only in Jinan, but also in Harbin, Changchun, Tianjin, Zhengzhou and other places, zoos will supplement some animals, especially primates, with green onions and garlic in autumn and winter and seasonal changes.

Because when the seasons change, animals are most susceptible to colds, enteritis and other diseases.
