The authority announced its honoring of musician Eid Al-Faraj and awarded him the title of "Musical Personality of the Year", in recognition of his artistic career full of achievements and his contributions to the advancement of the local music sector.

The authority revealed the members of the jury of the festival, whose activities are held for one day in the Mohammed bin Rashid Library. She noted the names included in the festival's jury, adding: "The members of the jury represent musical energies capable of empowering and helping young people to hone their skills and develop their artistic creativity to supply the local music sector with new blood."
